Edmonton Bed's Policies

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock or available from our suppliers within a reasonable timeframe at the time you place your order, we will notify you and give you the option to either wait or receive a refund for the total amount for the unavailable item or items, using the original method of payment.
  • A required deposit of 25% of the product is required when placing an order for a specific product or purchasing the product prior to an orders arrival. This deposit is non-refundable, unless at the discretion of Edmonton Beds. 

DELIVERY/SHIPPING POLICY

1.Delivery Options:

  1. Pickup in store – please wait to be informed that item is available. When you come to pick up, please bring a piece of photo ID and the Credit Card you paid with.
  2. Curbside – dropped off outside of home. Someone must be available to sign for delivery
  3. White Glove Delivery – our delivery person(s) will bring your purchase into your home. This does not include unpacking, installation, or assembly.
  4. Delivery and Assembly - Our delivery team will delivery your purchase into your house and for an additional fee, assemble the product.

2. Delivery Date & Time

  • An estimated delivery date and time will be provided to you once your order is placed.
  • If there are changes to the delivery time you will be notified. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order.
  • If a delivery date and time is agreed upon by Edmonton Beds and you, the customer, both parties will be available at the agreed upon time.
  •  If the driver is unable to arrive at the agreed time, they will inform the customer as soon as they are able, and a new time will be agreed upon, or the delivery will be rescheduled at no additional cost to the customer.
  • If the delivery driver arrives at the customers house and the customer is not available at that time, the delivery driver will make an attempt to contact the customer. If the customer cannot be contacted, the driver will wait no more than 15mins and then leave. The customer will need to contact Edmonton Beds to reschedule the Delivery, and additional delivery charges may be incurred for a second attempt. Proof of the delivery driver's attempt to deliver the customers product will be provided to the customer through text, or email.
  • Edmonton Beds will make every attempt to deliver your purchase with in 24hrs of the date of purchase or date of arrival of the customers purchase if the products were order from the manufacturer. The date of delivery may vary due to delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered.
  • Products may be delivered in separate deliveries. Additional Delivery charges may be applied for multiple deliveries depending on the items being delivered and the delivery location.

3. Delivery Costs

  • Delivery costs are based on the number of items, weight of your order, and the distance away from the store of the delivery location as well as any delivery promotions that may be occurring at the time of purchase.
  • To find out how much your delivery will cost, simply add the items you would like to purchase to your cart and proceed to the checkout page. Selecting the delivery option that matches your delivery location. 
  • Additional delivery charges may applied at the discretion of the persons fulfilling your order based on delivery to remote areas or for large or heavy items. You will be advised of any additional charges prior to your order being processed.

4. Long Distance Shipping

  • Long Distance Shipping Charges can be quoted on request. Edmonton Beds uses Frieghtsimple.com to produce multiple quotes from various Shipping and Transport companies based on requirements requested by you and the lowest shipping charges will be selected automatically. 
  • Once approved by you, exact shipping charges will be added to your order prior to payment, and once payment is received, Edmonton Beds will schedule the Shipment of your product and pay for the shipping from our account. Proof of Charges will be provided at your request.
  • You are free to select a shipping company of your choice and pay for the charges yourself.
  • Shipping dates are an estimation and are subject to change based on the shipping companies ability to pick up, transport, and drop off your purchase. 
  • If the Product is shipped to a warehouse for customer pickup, both the shipping company as well as Edmonton Beds will attempt to inform the customer that it is ready for pickup.
  • The customer has 24hrs to pick up the product before storage fees will be incurred. The customer agrees to pay Edmonton Beds in full, for any storage fees incurred from an overdue pick up.

5. Long Distance Returns and Refunds

  • Refer to the Edmonton Bed's RETURN POLICY below for details about product returns, exchanges and warranties
  • If the product is not damaged, the customer is responsible for any shipping requirements and charges required to facilitate a product return, refund or comfort exchange. Edmonton Bed's will only refund the value of a product once the product has arrived, and is in the same condition as it was when purchased. 
  • All prior shipping charges and fee are non-refundable. 

6. Damaged Items in Transport

  • If there is any damage to the packaging and/or product on delivery, contact us immediately at sales@edmontonbeds.com 
  • All shipping charges are non-refundable. 
  • All orders shipped long distance are insured for the value of the product. Photos of the item condition is supplied prior to shipment and if damage occurs during shipment, Edmonton Beds can facilitate a claim with the shipping company.
  • Edmonton Beds claims no responsibility for the replacement the product with an undamaged version, or to refund the value of the product that you paid for, if it was damaged during transport and while in possession of the shipping company. 
  • If the product is found to have been damaged or defective prior to shipment, Edmonton Beds will either will ship an undamaged replacement for the product at our expense, or refund the value of the product that you paid, minus the shipping charges.
  • The Customer has 15 days from picking up or receiving the product to inform Edmonton Beds of damages.

6. Installation and Removal

  • Please call (780) 665-4606 for this service.
  • Furniture assembly may include partial assembly in our warehouse to limit time in your home.
  • The Assembly Fee is minimum $100.00. The Assembly Fee may be increased, decreased or even waived, at the discretion of Edmonton Beds, based on the length of time it takes to assemble the product, as well as difficulty of the assembly.
  • Removal Fees are based on Individual items;           
    • $35.00 per mattress/foundation (size does not matter) and/or small bed frame.
    • $50.00 per large Bedframe or Appliance
    • $75.00 per Sofa, Sectionals, Large Furniture.

RETURN POLICY

1. Return Policy

  • Edmonton Beds has put in place a Customer Satisfaction Guarantee effective February 01 2025. This guarantee does not apply to any purchase made prior to January 01, 2025, Nor does it apply to any Product that is subject to a Manufacturing Warranty Claim.
  • In the event that you, the customer, are not satisfied with your purchase and the product is in the same condition as when you purchased it, you have 14 days* for mattresses or pillows, and 30 days* for all other product sold by Edmonton Beds, to contact Edmonton Beds to process a return for exchange or refund. refer to 2. Comfort Exchange Policy for more details on mattress and pillow exchanges.
  • If the item you purchased is discovered to be defective or damaged AT TIME OF PURCHASE, you should promptly contact Edmonton Beds at sales@edmontonbeds.com with details of the product and the defect. Refer to 3. Damage or Defective Product Policy for more details.
  • The customer will be responsible for any additional charges or fees involved with delivering and assembling the new mattress or product, and/or returning and disassembling the exchanged or refunded mattress or product. 
  • There are no returns on Mattresses, pillows and any other product sold at Edmonton Beds that are marked as clearance. or floor model.
  • You as the customer are required to understand and accept that all floor model product are sold AS IS and some products may no longer have a valid warranty.

* From Date of Fulfillment; pick up from the store or delivery to the customers house.

2. Comfort Exchange Policy

  • Mattresses and Pillows have a 14 day comfort guarantee. In that 14 day period, the mattress or pillow can be exchanged for another mattress or pillow of equal or greater value, with you, as the customer, paying the difference, or refunded the value of the mattress or pillow.
  • The 14 day comfort guarantee does not apply to clearance or floor model mattresses or pillows..
  • In order for a mattress or pillow to be eligible for exchange or refund, a mattress and/or pillow protector must be purchased at the same time as the mattress and/or pillow.

3. Damaged or Defective Product.

  • If the item you purchased is discovered to be defective or damaged AT TIME OF PURCHASE, you should promptly contact Edmonton Beds at sales@edmontonbeds.com with details of the product and the defect.
  • Edmonton Beds will either provide a replacement part for the item if one is available, exchange the damaged or defective item with the same item or another of similar or greater value with the customer paying any difference in price, or refund the item in full, minus any delivery or assembly fees. 
  • If the product should become damaged during normal use and through no fault of yourself, contact Edmonton Beds at sales@edmontonbeds.com with details of the product and the damage or defect. If the product's manufacture warranty is still active since time of purchase, Edmonton Beds will begin the warranty claim process on behalf of the Customer. Refer to 4. Manufacturer Warranty for mor details.
  • Edmonton Beds claims no responsibility for damaged or defective product that isn't reported to us AT TIME OF PURCHASE and will not process any returns, exchanges or refunds for the damaged or defective product.

4. Manufacture Warranty Claims

  • A manufacturer defect is defined as; any imperfection or fault of a product that occurred during the manufacturing process that hinders is usability of that product for the purpose it was designed and manufactured. A manufacturing defect may be discovered prior to use, or during the intended use of that product.
  • If the product should become damaged and/or usable during normal and intended use and through no fault of yourself, contact Edmonton Beds at sales@edmontonbeds.com with details of the product and the damage or defect. If the product's manufacture warranty is still active since the date of purchase, Edmonton Beds will begin the warranty claim process on behalf of the Customer.
  • All Manufacturer Warranty Claims are processed at the discretion of the Manufacturer. We claim no responsibility for the repair, replacement or refund of a defective product and will abide by the decision made by the manufacturer regarding the warranty claim.

Shipments accepted between 10 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday

Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by the customer. the customer is responsible for any loss or damage to hardware prior to shipping, and will contact the shipping company to facilitate an insurance claim if damages or lost items occur during shipping We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable and will not be included in any refunds processed for returned product.

PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE POLICY

Edmonton Beds will Price Match plus an additional 5% Off the Regular Retail Price of  any local competition. Only restrictions are as follows;

  • Must be for the identical item.
  • Identical Item must be new, available locally and under standard warranty
  • Price Match only applies to quantities reasonable for household use
  • Must be requested before purchase and the competition prices must be seen as advertised online or in a flyer.
  • Price matching cannot be used for any form of warranty replacement.

Prices cannot be for Clearance items, close-out sales, floor models, limited time offers (including but not restricted to Black Friday, Boxing Day or Cyber Monday pricing), damaged items, contract prices, member only prices, the result of competitors errors or misprints.
